Paul Hahn

President

Paul Hahn and his wife Denise are residents of Somers and have been members of HCS since 2016.  Paul’s parents were both Holocaust survivors and Paul immigrated from Prague Czechoslovakia to the U.S. when he was a young child.  Paul grew up in Jackson Heights, Queens and was Bar Mitrzvahed at the Young Israel of Jackson Heights.   

Paul has been a practicing attorney since 1977 and he is primarily engaged in the representation of commercial finance, banking and factoring institutions. Paul is currently of-counsel to the N.Y. C. law firm of Platzer, Swergold, Goldberg Katz & Jaslow, LLP.  and in the past was a partner at a number of prominent law firms in New York and Connecticut. Paul also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and as a District Office Counsel with the U.S.Small  Business Administration.  

Paul received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1976. He has an a/v rating (the highest rating) from Martindale Hubble and has been listed in the New York Metro Area edition of Super Lawyers since 2009. 

Paul is a past president (1997-1999) of the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and served on the Board of that organization from 1983 to 2016.
